Hayfever and allergies occur when a person’s immune system reacts to substances in the environment that are harmless for most people. These substances are known as allergens and include dust mites, pet dander, mould and pollen from trees, grass and weeds. Upon exposure to an allergen, histamine is released and people with hayfever and year round allergies can experience uncomfortable symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose or itchy and watery eyes.

Lorastyne is an antihistamine that works by blocking the effects of histamines and helps relieve symptoms caused by hayfever and allergies.
