Description

APOHEALTH Famciclovir Once is an antiviral medicine used for the management of repeat cold sore outbreaks in adults who have previously experienced cold sores. It is intended for use when symptoms reoccur.

Directions

Use as directed by your pharmacist or doctor.

Warnings

Not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
Do not repeat treatment within 7 days.

If cold sore symptoms do not improve after a few days, or if they worsen, seek advice from your pharmacist or doctor.

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to famciclovir, penciclovir, or any ingredients listed in the Consumer Medicine Information (CMI). Do not use if you have immune system disorders or kidney problems unless advised by a doctor.

Consult your pharmacist or doctor before use if you have high blood pressure, heart, liver, or kidney conditions, diabetes, or other medical conditions; if you are taking other medicines regularly; if you have symptoms of an infection unrelated to cold sores; or if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
