Description

APOHEALTH Macrogol with Electrolytes is formulated to provide effective relief from constipation, assist in the management of chronic constipation, and help treat faecal impaction as diagnosed by a healthcare professional. The gentle osmotic action works with electrolytes to restore normal bowel function. Once prepared with water, the solution should be kept refrigerated (2–8°C) and covered until use.

Ingredients (per sachet)

Macrogol 3350 – 13.125 g

Sodium Chloride – 350.7 mg

Sodium Bicarbonate – 178.5 mg

Potassium Chloride – 46.6 mg

Directions for Use

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 mL of water and drink immediately.

Adults and children 12 years and over:

Constipation: Start with 1 sachet daily. If required, increase to 2–3 sachets per day.

Faecal impaction (as diagnosed by a doctor): Up to 8 sachets may be taken within 6 hours, for no longer than 3 consecutive days.

Children under 12 years: Do not use.
Maintain adequate hydration and increase dietary fibre intake where possible, unless otherwise advised by your doctor. If constipation persists, seek medical advice.

Storage

Store below 25°C. Once mixed with water, refrigerate at 2–8°C and keep covered.

Warnings

Always read the label and use only as directed.

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

If you have a heart condition, do not take more than 2 sachets within one hour.

Long-term use of laxatives is not advised as it may cause dependence.

Each sachet contains approximately 188 mg of sodium and 24 mg of potassium.

Also contains gluten and saccharin.
