Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel 60g

Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel contains benzoyl peroxide 5% w/w for the treatment of acne. It is formulated to help unclog pores and target P. acnes bacteria associated with acne. The gel may help reduce blackheads and whiteheads.

The formulation contains glycerin to help maintain skin hydration and acrylates copolymer to absorb excess oil.

Active Ingredient: Benzoyl Peroxide 50 mg/g

Directions

Use Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel on affected areas as the second step in a three-step acne treatment routine.

Week 1: Initial Use

1. Wash and dry your hands before applying the gel.

2. Cleanse the skin with a gentle cleanser and pat dry.

3. Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected areas once daily.

4. Leave on for 2 hours, then rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry.

5. Apply a light, non-comedogenic moisturiser.

After 3 Days, If Well Tolerated

1. Wash and dry your hands.

2. Cleanse the skin.

3. Apply the gel in the evening.

4. Allow the gel to dry, then apply a light moisturiser.

5. Leave on overnight.

After 7 Days
If there is no redness or peeling and the acne has not improved, the gel may be used twice daily, in the morning and evening.

Apply after cleansing and before moisturising. If there is no improvement after one month, consult a healthcare professional.

Active Ingredient: Benzoyl Peroxide 50 mg/g

Inactive Ingredients: Docusate Sodium, Disodium Edetate, Poloxamer 182, Carbomer 940, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerol, Silicon Dioxide, Purified Water and Sodium Hydroxide (to adjust pH).

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, mouth, corners of the nose, mucous membranes and sensitive areas of the neck.

• If excessive swelling, irritation, redness, blistering or peeling occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

• Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and other sources of ultraviolet light.

• Do not apply to damaged skin.

• Benzoyl peroxide may discolour fabrics on contact. Use with care.
