Description

Canesten Thrush 6 Day Pessary is a 6-day vaginal treatment designed to manage vaginal thrush (vaginal candidiasis). The pack contains six pessaries, with one pessary inserted daily over six consecutive days. Vaginal thrush is a common yeast infection that may cause symptoms such as itching, burning, and a white, odourless discharge.

Each pessary is inserted high into the vagina, where it works locally to treat the infection when used as directed.

Use & Dosage

Before use, read the instruction leaflet provided in the pack.

Adults:
Using the supplied applicator, insert one pessary gently and deeply into the vagina once daily, preferably at bedtime, for six consecutive days.
For vaginal use only. Do not swallow.

Warnings, Storage & Disposal

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Use only as directed. Pharmacist advice is required.

The pessaries contain lactose.

Seek medical advice before your first course of treatment. Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve after four days, if symptoms return within two months, or if you have experienced three or more thrush infections within the past six months.

See a doctor before use if you are pregnant, have diabetes, are under 18 years of age or over 60 years of age, or if symptoms include pain, fever, or an unusual, foul-smelling, discoloured, or blood-stained discharge. Seek medical advice if you are unsure whether this product is suitable for you.
