Cepacaine Oral Solution 200ml

Description

Cepacaine Oral Solution contains an anaesthetic and antibacterial agent for temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with minor sore throat and mouth infections. It may also be used to help relieve discomfort following dental procedures and minor oral surgery.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients:

• Cetylpyridinium Chloride 500 micrograms/mL

• Benzocaine 4mg/mL

Contains:

• Ethanol 15% v/v

• Benzyl Alcohol 3mg/mL (preservative)

Directions

Adults and children over 6 years:
Gargle or rinse with 10–15mL of the solution for 10–15 seconds, then expel the liquid. Repeat every 2–3 hours if required.

Do not swallow.

Not recommended for children under 6 years.

Warnings

• Use only as directed.

• Do not swallow.

• If symptoms persist, seek advice from a healthcare professional.

• Treatment should not continue for longer than 7 days unless under medical supervision.

• Do not consume hot food or drinks immediately after use, as reduced sensation in the mouth may increase the risk of burns.

• The effectiveness of antibacterial agents in reducing the severity or duration of sore throat symptoms has not been clinically established.

• If symptoms such as blue-coloured skin, lips or nails, headache, dizziness, shortness of breath, or fatigue occur after use, seek immediate medical attention.

• Keep out of reach of children.
