Demazin Original 6 Hour Cold + Flu Day + Night Relief 24 Tablets

DEMAZIN Cold + Flu Relief Day + Night Tablets contain a combination of active ingredients for the temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms during the day and night.

For the temporary relief of:

• Runny nose

• Blocked nose and sinuses

• Sinus pain

• Fever

• Headache

• Body aches and pains

• Watery, itchy eyes

• Sneezing

The day tablets contain an analgesic and decongestant to help relieve daytime cold and flu symptoms. The night tablets also contain an antihistamine to assist with the relief of symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Active Ingredients

Each day tablet contains:

• Paracetamol 500 mg

• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg

Each night tablet contains:

• Paracetamol 500 mg

• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg

• Chlorphenamine maleate 2 mg

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over

Day tablets

• Take 2 tablets every 4–6 hours as required.

• Maximum 6 day tablets in 24 hours.

Night tablets

• Take 2 tablets at bedtime as required.

• Maximum 2 night tablets in 24 hours.

Warnings

• Pharmacy medicine. Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

• Do not use for longer than a few days in adults or for more than 48 hours in children aged 12–17 years unless advised by a doctor.

• Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.

• Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, are taking antidepressants, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose. In the event of an overdose, contact the Poisons Information Centre or seek medical attention immediately, even if you feel well.

• This medicine may cause sleeplessness in some people.

• Night tablets may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.

• Do not use if the foil seal is broken.
