Description

Difflam Antibacterial + Anti-Inflammatory Sore Throat Lozenges contain benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. The formulation is used for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with sore throat, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, mouth ulcers, and inflammatory conditions affecting the mouth and throat, including swelling and redness.

These lozenges may also be used to help relieve pain following mouth or throat surgery and dental procedures.

Raspberry flavour.

Sugar free, lactose free and gluten free.

Ingredients

Each lozenge contains:

• Benzydamine hydrochloride 3.0mg

• Cetylpyridinium chloride 1.33mg

Contains Sucralose and Isomalt (31g per 12 lozenges, maximum recommended daily dose).

Directions

Adults and children aged 6 years and over:

• Slowly dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth. Do not chew.

• Use as required.

• In severe cases, take 1 lozenge every 1–2 hours as required.

• Maximum 12 lozenges in 24 hours.

Warnings

Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

Do not use this medicine:

• If the blister seal is broken.

• If the product has passed its expiry date.

• If you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines.

If an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical advice.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or may become pregnant.

While using this medicine:

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

• If symptoms persist, worsen, or change unexpectedly, consult your healthcare professional.

• Treatment should not continue for more than 7 days unless under medical supervision.

• The effectiveness of antibacterial agents in lozenges for reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.

Contains Sucralose and Isomalt. Products containing isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
