Description

Difflam Sore Throat Lozenges contain antibacterial and anti-inflammatory active ingredients for the temporary relief of sore throat symptoms.

The formulation is indicated for temporary relief of:

• Sore throat

• Pharyngitis

• Tonsillitis

• Mouth ulcers

• Swelling, redness and inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat

• Pain following mouth or throat surgery

• Pain following dental procedures

Suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Ingredients

Active ingredients (per lozenge):

• Benzydamine hydrochloride 3 mg

• Cetylpyridinium chloride 1.33 mg

Contains:

• Sucralose

• Isomalt

Directions

Adults and children aged 6 years and over:

• Slowly dissolve one lozenge in the mouth. Do not chew.

• Use as required. Relief may last for up to 3 hours.

• For more severe symptoms, one lozenge may be taken every 1–2 hours as required, up to a maximum of 12 lozenges in 24 hours.

Warnings

• Do not use if the blister seal is broken or if the product has passed its expiry date.

• Do not use if allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines.

• If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or may become pregnant.

• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

• If symptoms persist, seek advice from a healthcare professional.

• Do not use continuously for more than 7 days unless advised by a healthcare professional.

• Contains sucralose and isomalt. Excessive consumption of isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
