Description

Difflam Sore Throat Spray contains benzydamine hydrochloride for the temporary relief of pain and inflammation associated with sore throat and mouth conditions. The spray nozzle allows application directly to the affected area.

• For the temporary relief of sore throat symptoms

• May be used for pain and inflammation associated with:

  • Sore throat

  • Tonsillitis

  • Pharyngitis

  • Mouth ulcers

  • Inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat

  • Pain following dental procedures

  • Pain following mouth or throat surgery

  • Radiation mucositis

Ingredients

Active Ingredient (per spray)

• Benzydamine Hydrochloride 255 micrograms

Contains

• Alcohol (8% w/v)

• Hydroxybenzoates

• Saccharin

Directions for Use

Adults and children over 12 years

• Spray 4–8 times directly onto the affected area

• Swallow gently

• Use every 1.5–3 hours as required

Children 6–12 years

• Spray 4 times directly onto the affected area

• Swallow gently

• Use every 1.5–3 hours as required

Before first use, or after a period of non-use, prime the spray by depressing the pump until a fine mist is released. After use, wipe the nozzle with a tissue to help prevent blockage.

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Warnings

Do not use:

• If you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines

• After the expiry date

If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.

Consult a healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant or may become pregnant.

While using this medicine:

• Keep out of reach of children

• Avoid contact with eyes

• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age

• Do not use continuously for more than 7 days unless advised by a healthcare professional
