Difflam Plus Anaesthetic, Antibacterial and Anti-Inflammatory Lozenges contain benzydamine hydrochloride, lidocaine hydrochloride and dichlorobenzyl alcohol for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with sore throat and mouth conditions.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients (per lozenge)

• Benzydamine Hydrochloride 3 mg

• Lidocaine (Lignocaine) Hydrochloride Monohydrate 4 mg

• Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 1.2 mg

Contains

• Sucralose

• Isomalt (31 g per 12 lozenges, recommended maximum daily dose)

Products containing isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Directions for Use

Adults and children aged 6 years and over:

• Slowly dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth every 2–3 hours as required

• Maximum 12 lozenges in 24 hours

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Store below 30°C.

Warnings

Do not use:

• If the blister seal is broken

• After the expiry date

• If you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines

If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.

While using this medicine:

• Keep out of reach of children

• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age

• Avoid hot food or drinks immediately after taking a lozenge due to the anaesthetic effect

• Do not use continuously for more than 7 days unless under medical supervision

• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist
