Duro-Tuss Chesty Double Strength 200mL

DURO-TUSS Chesty Cough Liquid Double Strength is an oral liquid medicine containing bromhexine hydrochloride at a higher strength formulation. It is used for the relief of chesty cough associated with mucus congestion.

It is indicated for short-term use in appropriate age groups as directed by a healthcare professional.

Suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over (as directed).

Ingredients

Active ingredient (per 5 mL):

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over:

• 5–10 mL every 8 hours as required

• Maximum 3 doses in 24 hours

Children 6–11 years (on healthcare professional advice):

• 5 mL every 8 hours as required

• Maximum 3 doses in 24 hours

Shake bottle before use.

Warnings

• Not for use in children under 6 years

• Not for use if seal is broken or past expiry date

• Children aged 6–11 years only to be used on healthcare professional advice

• Contains sorbitol; may have a laxative effect in large amounts

• May cause diarrhoea in some individuals

• If symptoms persist, seek advice from a healthcare professional
