DURO-TUSS Dry Cough Liquid Forte contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide for the temporary relief of non-productive dry coughs.

Active Ingredient

Per 5 mL contains:

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 15 mg

Contains:

• Benzoates

• Sugars

• Sorbitol

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over

• Take 10 mL every 6–8 hours as required.

• Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours.

Children 6–11 years (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner)

• Take 5 mL every 6–8 hours as required.

• Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours.

Storage

• Store below 30°C.

Warnings

• Do not use in children under 6 years of age.

• Children aged 6–11 years should only use this medicine on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

• Do not use if the seal is broken or if the product has expired.

• Do not use if you are taking, or have taken within the past two weeks, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or certain antidepressant medicines.

• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

• Contains sorbitol. Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
