Product Information

Brand infacol
Infacol is an oral suspension used to relieve wind, infant colic and griping pain, and can be used from birth. The active ingredient, simethicone, brings small trapped gas bubbles together into larger ones that a baby can bring up more easily as wind. It has an orange flavour and comes with a dropper for measuring doses. An 85mL bottle gives roughly 100 doses.

Active Ingredient
Simethicone 40mg per 1mL.

Other Ingredients
Purified water, hypromellose, orange flavour, saccharin sodium, methyl hydroxybenzoate and propyl hydroxybenzoate. Free from sugar, alcohol and colouring agents.

Dosage
The usual dose is one dropper full (0.5mL) before each feed. If there has been no improvement after three to four days, the dose may be increased to two droppers full (1mL) before each feed. Shake before use.

Warnings
Read the label and use only as directed. If symptoms persist, worsen, or your baby is unwell in other ways, see your doctor or pharmacist. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25C.
