Product Information

Brand Lacteeze
Lacteeze Infant Drops supply lactase, the enzyme that breaks lactose down into simpler sugars the body absorbs more easily. They are added to breast milk or formula before a feed rather than given to the baby directly. Each drop delivers 250 ALU of lactase, and the 15ml dropper bottle works out at roughly 90 serves. Every baby's tolerance differs, so the number of drops can be adjusted up or down to suit.

Dosage
Breastfeeding: express two tablespoons of breast milk into a sterilised container, add 4 drops of Lacteeze, mix well, give the mixture to your baby and then breastfeed as normal.
Bottle feeding, immediate use: add 4 drops to your baby's warm (not hot) feed, mix well and wait 30 minutes before feeding.
Bottle feeding, prepared ahead: add 2 drops to the warm (not hot) feed, mix well, refrigerate for at least 4 hours and use within 24 hours. Warm to feeding temperature and feed as normal.
As every baby has a different level of lactose intolerance, you may need to adjust the dose up or down to find what suits yours.

Key Features
• 250 ALU of lactase enzyme per drop
• Approximately 90 serves per 15ml bottle
• Works with both breast milk and formula
• Dropper bottle for accurate dosing

Additional Information
Once opened, store the drops in the fridge. They stay effective for 3 months after opening.

Warnings
Do not add the drops to a hot feed, as heat destroys the enzyme. If your baby's symptoms persist or you are unsure whether lactose is the cause, speak to your doctor, pharmacist or child health nurse. Keep out of reach of children. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
