Description

Metsal Heat Rub Cream is a topical preparation used for the temporary relief of pain associated with sprains, strains, arthritis, rheumatism, lumbago and fibrositis.

It may be applied to muscles and joints as directed. The cream is formulated for topical use and is non-greasy and non-staining.

Directions

Apply a small amount to the affected area and massage gently into the skin 2–3 times daily, or as directed.

For sports-related muscle and joint discomfort, apply as required before, during or after activity.

For injuries, appropriate first aid measures such as rest, ice, compression and elevation (RICE) may be used where suitable. Apply the cream after swelling has subsided.

Warnings

Do not use this medicine:

  • In children under 2 years of age.

  • If past the expiry date.

While using this medicine:

  • For external use only.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, open wounds and broken skin.

  • Do not use with heat lamps, heating pads, hot water bottles or tight bandages.

  • Discontinue use and seek medical advice if irritation or rash occurs.

Storage

Store below 30°C.
