This is TouchBio's broadest respiratory kit: a single nasal swab is screened for five viruses at once, being RSV, Adenovirus, Influenza A, Influenza B and SARS-CoV-2. It works as a lateral flow immunoassay using a double antibody sandwich method, and it can pick up co-infection where more than one virus is present. Handy when several people in a household are unwell and the symptoms all look the same. Approved by the TGA for self-testing under ARTG 408073. Pack of 3.

When to Test
The kit is intended as an aid to diagnosis within a set window from when symptoms start: COVID-19 within 7 days, Influenza A/B within 4 days, RSV within 6 days and Adenovirus within 6 days. Testing outside these windows may give a false negative.

Directions for Use
Read the instructions before you begin and wash your hands. Insert the swab roughly 2 cm into each nostril and rotate it five times against the nasal wall. Place the swab in the extraction tube, twist and squeeze around five times, then discard the swab. Add the drops to the sample well as directed by the instruction leaflet and lay the device flat. Read the result at 15 minutes and do not interpret after 20 minutes.

Reading Your Result
• Positive: the control line (C) appears together with a line beside the marked region for the virus detected. Even a faint line is a positive.
• Negative: only the control line (C) appears.
• Invalid: no control line. Repeat using a new test device.

Warnings
• In vitro diagnostic device for self-testing. Each component is single use.
• A negative result does not exclude infection. If you remain unwell, test again or seek medical advice.
• Positive results should be followed up with your doctor and current public health advice.
• Store at 2 to 30 degrees Celsius, out of direct sunlight. Do not use if the pouch is torn or the expiry date has passed.
• Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact of buffer with eyes and skin.
