2San 8 Drug Saliva Test 1 Pack

The 2San 8 Drug Saliva Test is a single-use oral fluid screen that checks one saliva sample for eight drugs at once. You collect the sample by placing the device's pad under your tongue, and the result shows as coloured lines after 10 minutes. It gives a preliminary screening result only.

• Amphetamine (AMP): 50 ng/mL
• Benzodiazepines (BZO): 10 ng/mL
• Cocaine (COC): 20 ng/mL
• Ecstasy (MDMA): 50 ng/mL
• Marijuana (THC parent): 15 ng/mL
• Methadone (MTD): 30 ng/mL
• Methamphetamine (MET): 50 ng/mL
• Opiates (OPI): 40 ng/mL

You will also need a timer or clock.

How to Use

• Don't eat, drink, chew gum or smoke for at least 10 minutes before testing.
• Use the test at room temperature (15 to 30°C).
• Pull the cap off gently to expose the collection pad.
• Hold the pad under your tongue until colour starts moving through both test windows, then take it out and put the cap back on.
• Read the result at 10 minutes. Results read after 20 minutes are not valid.

Results

• Negative: a line at C and a line at T for that drug. Any line at T, even a faint one, counts as negative.
• Positive: a line at C only, with no line at T for that drug.
• Invalid: no line at C. Repeat with a new test.

A positive screen is preliminary. 2San states that a laboratory method (GC/MS or LC/MS) is needed to confirm it, so take any positive result to a doctor or pathology lab.

Warnings

• A positive result shows a drug or metabolite is present. It does not measure intoxication.
• A negative result does not rule out drug use, as levels may be below the cut-off.
• The test cannot tell drugs of abuse apart from some medicines.
• For saliva only. Do not reuse, and do not use if the foil pouch is damaged or the test is past its expiry date.

Storage

Store at 2 to 30°C in the sealed pouch until use. Do not freeze and keep out of direct sunlight.
