2San Marijuana Saliva Drug Test 3 Pack

This 2San pack contains three single-use saliva tests that screen for marijuana. Each one looks for the THC parent compound (delta-9-THC) in oral fluid, so no urine sample is needed. Results appear as coloured lines and are read at 10 minutes.

A timer or clock is needed but not supplied.

How to Use

• Wait at least 10 minutes after eating, drinking, chewing gum or smoking before you test.
• Test at room temperature (15 to 30°C).
• Gently pull off the cap and place the collection pad under your tongue.
• Once colour moves across the test window, remove the device and replace the cap.
• Read at 10 minutes. Do not read the result after 20 minutes.

Results

• Negative: two lines, one at C and one at T. A faint T line still means negative.
• Positive: one line at C and none at T.
• Invalid: no C line. Use a new test.

The result is a preliminary screen. The manufacturer advises that a positive needs confirming with a laboratory method such as GC/MS or LC/MS, so see a doctor or pathology lab.

Warnings

• A positive result means THC was found above the cut-off. It does not show intoxication.
• A negative result does not rule out use, because levels may sit below the detection limit.
• Procedural errors and some substances can cause false results.
• Single use only. Don't use a test if its foil pouch is damaged or it is past the expiry date.

Storage

Keep at 2 to 30°C, sealed in the pouch until use. Do not freeze. Keep out of direct sunlight.
