Description

Benzac AC 10% Acne Gel is a high-strength spot treatment designed to target acne effectively. It works to kill up to 94% of acne-causing bacteria while helping reduce blackheads and whiteheads. The formula contains acrylates copolymer – microscopic beads that absorb excess oil without stripping the skin’s essential moisture – and glycerine to leave skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Ingredients

Active: Benzoyl Peroxide 100 mg/g
Inactive: Docusate Sodium, Disodium Edetate, Poloxamer 182, Carbomer 940, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerol, Silicon Dioxide, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (to adjust pH).

Directions

Cleanse the face and gently pat dry before applying. Spread a thin layer of Benzac AC High Strength 10% Acne Gel over affected areas once daily and leave for two hours before rinsing off with water and applying a light moisturizer.
If after three days there is no irritation, apply in the evening and leave overnight before washing off. After seven days, if no redness or peeling occurs and the condition hasn’t improved, apply twice daily, morning and night.
Those with sensitive skin should start with Benzac AC Mild Strength 2.5% Acne Gel, progressing to 5% and then 10% as tolerated.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly. Do not apply to broken or damaged skin. Discontinue use if rash or irritation develops. Test on a small skin area before full application, especially for sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if allergic to any listed ingredients.
