Description

Betadine Antiseptic Liquid Spray is an antiseptic solution for use on minor cuts, abrasions, minor burns, and minor skin infections. The spray format allows application directly to the affected area without contact.

Active Ingredient

  • Povidone-Iodine 50mg/mL

Contains

Citric acid, dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, glycerol, nonoxinol 9, purified water, and sodium hydroxide.

Directions

  • Apply to the affected area 2–3 times daily.

  • Hold the bottle approximately 25cm from the skin.

  • Press the valve firmly and spray at an angle to cover the required area.

  • Allow the solution to dry.

  • The area may be covered with a dressing or bandage if required.

  • Replace the cap after use.

  • If the spray nozzle becomes blocked, remove it and soak in warm water.

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Warnings

  • For external use only.

  • Do not use if hypersensitive to iodine.

  • Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if redness, irritation, or swelling develops.

  • Avoid application to large areas of skin or extensive burn areas.

  • Keep out of reach of children.
