Description                                                                                                                              Betadine Sore Throat Gargle contains povidone-iodine and is intended for use as a gargle solution. The concentrated formula requires dilution before use and includes a measuring device for accurate preparation.

Ingredients

Active ingredient:

  • Povidone-Iodine 7.5% w/v (equivalent to 0.75% w/v available iodine)

Contains:

  • Ethanol (alcohol)

Directions

  • Dilute 1mL of gargle with water to a total volume of 20mL using the measure provided.

  • Gargle for 30 seconds and do not swallow.

  • Repeat every 3–4 hours if required.

  • Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Warnings

Do not use if you are hypersensitive to iodine.

If irritation, redness or swelling develops, discontinue use and seek advice from a healthcare professional.

Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
