Description

KetoSens Blood Ketone Test Strips are designed for use exclusively with the CareSens Dual Blood Glucose & Ketone Monitor. These strips are code-free, allowing for straightforward testing by simply inserting the strip into the compatible meter. Each strip is individually sealed in foil to help maintain product integrity, with 10 test strips supplied per pack.

KetoSens strips require a small blood sample and deliver results quickly, with readings automatically saved in the meter’s memory for later review.

How to Use

Preparing the lancing device
Remove the adjustable cap and insert a new disposable lancet securely. Twist off the lancet’s protective cover, refit the adjustable cap, and select the desired depth setting. Prime the lancing device until it clicks and is ready for use.

Preparing the meter and test strip
Wash and dry your hands before testing. Insert the square end of the KetoSens test strip into the meter with the contact bars facing upward. When the blood drop symbol appears, obtain a blood sample using the lancing device.

Gently touch the tip of the strip to the blood drop, ensuring the sample fills the confirmation window. Only a very small amount of blood is required. Once sufficient blood is applied, the meter will beep and begin counting down. The test result will display after the countdown and be stored automatically.
