Combantrin-1 with Mebendazole provides an effective single-tablet treatment for threadworm (pinworm). Each orange-flavoured tablet delivers a once-only dose suitable for both adults and children aged 2 years and over.

The active ingredient, Mebendazole 100mg, is an anthelmintic that works by disrupting the worm’s ability to absorb glucose, effectively starving it of the energy it needs to survive. Within a few days, the threadworm dies and is naturally passed out of the body.

As threadworm is highly contagious, it’s recommended that all family members be treated at the same time.

Directions

Adults and children 2 years and over: Take one orange-flavoured tablet, chewed or swallowed whole with water, with or without food.

Only one tablet is required per person, regardless of age or body weight.

Ensure the entire household is treated to help prevent reinfestation.
