Description

Cortic DS Ointment 1% contains hydrocortisone, a mild topical corticosteroid used to reduce skin inflammation, redness, and itching. It is ideal for treating eczema, dermatitis, insect bites, and other minor skin irritations. The ointment base provides a protective barrier and is particularly suited for dry or thickened skin areas.

 

Ingredients

Active Ingredient (per gram):

Hydrocortisone 10mg (1%)

Base Ingredients:

White soft paraffin

Liquid paraffin

Preservatives (if applicable)

 

Usage

Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily.

Gently rub in and use only for as long as needed to control symptoms.

Wash hands after application unless treating the hands.

For external use only.

Do not use on broken skin, infected areas, or on the face unless directed by a doctor.

Avoid use in children under 2 years unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Prolonged use can lead to skin thinning – follow usage directions carefully.
