Demazin Cold Relief Blue Syrup 200mL

Demazin Cold Relief Blue Syrup is formulated to relieve common cold symptoms, including blocked nose and sinuses, runny nose, sneezing, and watery or itchy eyes.

Suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over. The syrup has a peach and vanilla flavour and is free from lactose and gluten.

Active Ingredients

Per 5 mL:

• Chlorphenamine Maleate 1.25 mg

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 2.5 mg

Other Ingredients

Hydroxybenzoates, sugar, alcohol (6.4% v/v) and sorbitol (6.3 g/60 mL).

Directions

Measure the dose using the medicine cup provided.

Children 6–11 years

• Dose: 8–15 mL

• Every 6–8 hours

• Maximum daily dose: 32–60 mL

Adults and children 12 years and over

• Dose: 15 mL

• Every 6 hours

• Maximum daily dose: 60 mL

After use, rinse the measuring cup with warm water, allow it to dry, and replace the cap securely.

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Warnings

Do not use:

• In children under 6 years of age.

• In children aged 6–11 years except on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

• If the tamper-evident seal is broken.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• Have high blood pressure.

• Have heart problems.

• Are taking antidepressants, antihistamines or other medicines for cold symptoms.

• Are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are breastfeeding.

While using this medicine:

• If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.

• This medicine may cause sleeplessness.

• This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery.

• Avoid alcohol.

Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
