Dermatix Silicone Scar Reduction Gel is a silicone-based gel used for the management of raised scars, including scars resulting from burns, surgery, laser abrasion and chemical peels.

The gel forms a transparent, flexible silicone layer over the scar area. It may be used on new and existing scars and is suitable for sensitive skin and children.

Raised scars may include:

  • Hypertrophic scars: Raised, red scars that remain within the original wound or injury area.

  • Keloid scars: Raised scars that extend beyond the original wound or injury area.

Active Ingredient

  • Polysiloxane

Directions

  1. Apply only after the wound has completely healed.

  2. Apply a thin layer to the scar area every morning and night.

  3. Allow the gel to dry for 4–5 minutes before applying clothing, cosmetics or sunscreen over the area.

  4. Use for a minimum of 2 months.

Do not apply over antibiotic skin preparations or other skin treatments or products.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Warnings

  • For external use only.

  • Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

  • Do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to any ingredients.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Store below 25°C.
