Difflam C Solution 100mL

Description                                                                                                                            Difflam Antiseptic + Anti-Inflammatory Oral Solution contains benzydamine hydrochloride and chlorhexidine gluconate for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with sore throat, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, mouth ulcers, and inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat. It may also be used for pain following mouth or throat surgery and dental procedures.

The anti-inflammatory ingredient helps reduce inflammation and swelling, while the antiseptic ingredient helps reduce bacteria associated with throat and mouth infections.

Made in Australia.

Active Ingredients (per 15mL):

• Benzydamine hydrochloride 22.5mg

• Chlorhexidine gluconate 18mg

Contains:

• Alcohol 9.4% v/v

Directions
Adults and children aged 6 years and over: Use 15mL as a mouth rinse or gargle for at least 30 seconds, then expel from the mouth. Do not swallow.

Use every 1.5 to 3 hours as required.

Storage
Store below 30°C. Protect from light.

Warnings
Do not use this medicine:

• If past the expiry date.

• If you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines.

• If you are allergic to chlorhexidine.

If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately.

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or may become pregnant.

While using this medicine:

• Not recommended for children under 6 years.

• Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

• Continuous use should not exceed 7 days unless advised by a healthcare professional.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

• Prolonged use of products containing chlorhexidine may cause temporary surface staining of the teeth.

• The effectiveness of antiseptic agents in oral solutions for reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.
