Difflam C Solution 200mL

Difflam Plus Ready To Use Sore Throat Gargle & Mouth Solution contains benzydamine hydrochloride and chlorhexidine gluconate. The formulation combines an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic to help relieve pain and inflammation associated with conditions affecting the mouth and throat.

It may be used for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with:

• Sore throat

• Tonsillitis

• Pharyngitis

• Mouth ulcers

• Swelling, redness and inflammatory conditions

• Pain following mouth or throat surgery

• Pain following dental, oral surgery and periodontal procedures

Active Ingredients

Each 15 mL contains:

• Benzydamine hydrochloride 22.5 mg

• Chlorhexidine gluconate 18 mg

Contains:

• Alcohol 9.4% v/v

Directions

Adults and children 6 years and over

• Use 15 mL as a gargle or mouth rinse.

• Hold in the mouth or gargle for at least 30 seconds.

• Use every 1.5–3 hours as required.

• Expel the solution after use. Do not swallow.

Warnings

• Do not use if the product has expired.

• Do not use if you are allergic to benzydamine, other anti-inflammatory medicines, or chlorhexidine.

• Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if an allergic reaction occurs.

• Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or may become pregnant.

• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

• Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

• Do not use continuously for more than 7 days unless advised by a healthcare professional.

• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

• Prolonged use of products containing chlorhexidine may cause temporary superficial staining of the teeth.

• The effectiveness of antiseptic oral solutions in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.

• Keep out of reach of children.
