Difflam Lozenges Strawberry Sugar Free 16

Difflam Sore Throat Lozenges contain benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride to provide temporary relief of sore throat symptoms. The anti-inflammatory ingredient helps reduce inflammation and swelling, while the antibacterial ingredient acts against bacteria associated with throat and mouth infections.

For the temporary relief of:

• Sore throat

• Pharyngitis

• Tonsillitis

• Mouth ulcers

• Swelling, redness and inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat

• Pain following mouth or throat surgery

• Pain following dental procedures

Active Ingredients

Each lozenge contains:

• Benzydamine hydrochloride 3 mg

• Cetylpyridinium chloride 1.33 mg

Directions

Adults and children 6 years and over:

• Slowly dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth.

• Do not chew.

• Use as required.

• In severe cases, take 1 lozenge every 1–2 hours as required.

• Maximum 12 lozenges in 24 hours.

Warnings

• Do not use if the blister seal is broken or if the product has expired.

• Do not use if you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines.

• If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately.

• Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or may become pregnant.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

• The effectiveness of the antibacterial ingredient in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.

• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

• Do not use continuously for more than 7 days unless under medical supervision.

• Contains sucralose and isomalt. Excessive consumption of isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
