Difflam Sore Throat Forte 88 Metered Dose Spray

Description

This anti-inflammatory throat spray is formulated to provide temporary relief of pain and inflammation associated with sore throat and other inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat. The multi-directional spray nozzle allows application directly to the affected area.

It is indicated for the temporary relief of:

• Sore throat

• Tonsillitis

• Pharyngitis

• Mouth ulcers

• Redness and inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat

• Pain following mouth or throat surgery

• Radiation mucositis

• Pain following dental procedures

Suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Size: 15 mL (approximately 88 sprays)

Active Ingredient

Each spray contains:

• Benzydamine hydrochloride 510 micrograms

Contains:

• Alcohol (10% v/v)

• Hydroxybenzoates

• Saccharin

Other Ingredients:

• Ethanol

• Flavour

• Glycerol

• Methyl hydroxybenzoate

• PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil

• Purified water

• Saccharin sodium

Directions

Adults and children over 12 years:

• Spray 2–4 times directly onto the affected area.

• Swallow gently.

• Use every 1.5–3 hours as required.

Children 6–11 years:

• Spray 2 times directly onto the affected area.

• Swallow gently.

• Use every 1.5–3 hours as required.

Before first use, or after a period of non-use, prime the pump by pressing until a fine mist is released. Wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue after use to help prevent blockage.

Warnings

• Do not use if the expiry date has passed.

• Do not use if you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines.

• If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately.

• Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or may become pregnant.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid contact with the eyes.

• Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

• Do not use continuously for more than 7 days unless advised by a healthcare professional.

• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
