Description                                                                                                                              Friar's Balsam is used as an inhalant to assist with nasal congestion associated with colds and flu, and as a topical antiseptic for minor cuts and wounds.

Ingredients
Active Ingredients (per mL):

  • Aloe ferox inner leaf dry juice 5.1mg

  • Benzoin Sumatra equivalent to dry Benzoin Sumatra 51.4mg

  • Prepared Storax 25.7mg

Directions
As an inhalant:

  • Add 5–10mL of Friar's Balsam to 500mL of hot (not boiling) water and inhale the vapour.

As an antiseptic:

  • Apply undiluted to minor cuts and wounds.

Warnings

  • For external use only. Do not swallow.

  • Not recommended for children under 2 years of age unless advised by a healthcare professional.

  • If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare professional.

  • Contains alcohol 73% v/v.

  • Flammable.
