Imigran Migraine 50mg 2 Tablets - Sumatriptan

Description

Imigran Migraine Tablets contain sumatriptan succinate 50mg, a serotonin (5-HT1) receptor agonist used for the acute relief of migraine attacks. It works by narrowing blood vessels around the brain and reducing migraine-related substances, helping to relieve headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other migraine symptoms. Best used at the first signs of a migraine attack.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient (per tablet):

Sumatriptan succinate equivalent to 50mg sumatriptan

Inactive Ingredients:

Lactose

Cellulose

Sodium starch glycollate

Magnesium stearate

Film coating agents (hypromellose, titanium dioxide, etc.)

Usage

Adults aged 18–65 years: Take one tablet (50mg) at the first sign of a migraine.

If symptoms return, a second dose may be taken after at least 2 hours, but do not exceed 100mg in 24 hours.

Do not take more than 2 tablets in 24 hours.

Not to be used for prevention of migraines or for other types of headaches.

Do not use if you:

Have heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or circulatory problems

Are allergic to sumatriptan or any ingredients

Have taken other migraine treatments (e.g., ergotamine, triptans) in the past 24 hours

Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

Possible side effects: dizziness, flushing, chest tightness, or tingling.

If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention.
