LifeSmart Blood Glucose & Ketone Monitoring Device (non bluetooth)

Description

Designed for convenient self-monitoring, this device measures blood glucose (BG), β-ketones and haematocrit levels with a broad haematocrit range of 0–70%. It requires only 1µl of blood for BG and β-ketone tests, and 3µl for cholesterol testing. BG results are ready in just 5 seconds, while β-ketone readings take 10 seconds.
The meter is simple to operate, stores up to 1000 results, includes a large backlit display for easy viewing, and is powered by two AAA batteries.

Directions

Insert a test strip to switch on the meter. Use your pre-set lancing device to obtain a sample from the chosen site. Wipe away the first drop of blood with a clean cotton swab, then gently press to form a second drop. Avoid smearing the sample.
With the strip still in the meter, lightly touch the drop of blood to the absorbent opening of the strip at a slight angle. Keep your finger in place until you hear the confirmation beep.
If no sample is applied within 3 minutes, the meter will power off automatically—remove and reinsert the strip to begin a new test.
Do not attempt to add more blood once the initial drop has been drawn into the strip. Discard the used strip and repeat the test with a new one if needed.
After the countdown reaches zero, your BG result with HCT levels or β-ketone reading will display and be saved automatically. Press the eject button to release the strip and dispose of it in a sharps container. The meter will turn off on its own.

Used lancets and test strips may pose a biohazard risk—dispose of them according to local guidelines. Use the device only as described in the manual and avoid using unapproved accessories. Do not operate the device if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
Keep the meter, strips, lancets, batteries, caps and other small components out of reach of children, as these may present choking hazards.
