Product Information

Brand Livostin
Livostin Nasal Spray delivers the antihistamine levocabastine straight into the nose for the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. It targets the sneezing, runny nose and nasal itch triggered by grass, pollen, mould, dust and animal dander. Because it is applied topically, it starts working on the nasal lining rather than having to be absorbed from the gut first. 10mL metered pump bottle.

Key Features
• Antihistamine nasal spray for hay fever and other allergic rhinitis
• Relieves sneezing, runny nose and nasal itching
• Not a steroid and not a decongestant
• Fast acting, twice daily dosing for most people
• 10mL metered pump bottle

Active Ingredients
Levocabastine (as hydrochloride) 0.5mg/mL, delivering approximately 50 micrograms per spray.

Directions for Use
Shake before use and prime the pump if it is new or has not been used for a while. Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 sprays into each nostril twice daily. If needed this can be increased to 2 sprays three or four times daily. Keep the head upright while spraying and breathe in gently.

Warnings
• Not recommended for children under 12 years unless a doctor advises it
• Do not use if you are sensitive to levocabastine or any other ingredient
• If there is no improvement after 3 days, see your doctor. Do not use for longer than 2 weeks without medical advice
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have kidney problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Mild nasal irritation is the most common side effect and usually settles
• Always read the label and follow the directions for use
