Maxalt works by narrowing the blood vessels in the brain and reducing substances that trigger migraine symptoms like headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound. The wafer dissolves quickly on the tongue without the need for water, offering fast and convenient migraine relief when you need it most.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient:

Rizatriptan benzoate 7.265 mg (equivalent to 5 mg rizatriptan) per wafer

Inactive Ingredients May Include:

Gelatin

Mannitol

Peppermint flavour

Aspartame

Glycine

Usage

Adults 18–65 years: Place one 5mg wafer on the tongue as soon as migraine symptoms appear.

Do not take more than 2 doses in 24 hours.

Wait at least 2 hours between doses if a second dose is needed.

Do not use to prevent migraines—for acute relief only.

Follow your doctor's instructions closely.

Do not use if you:

Have heart disease or high risk of cardiovascular issues
