Description
Nicotinell Stop Smoking Gum is designed to support your quit-smoking journey by easing nicotine cravings and helping reduce common withdrawal symptoms that occur when you stop smoking.
Each piece provides a controlled dose of nicotine to help satisfy cravings as they arise, giving you better control over your withdrawal symptoms. When used correctly, Nicotinell Soft Gum can improve your chances of quitting successfully compared to relying on willpower alone.
The gum releases a fast-acting, therapeutic dose of nicotine that absorbs into the bloodstream for up to 30 minutes to help curb cravings quickly. The chewing action also offers a helpful distraction, giving your mouth something to do other than smoking.

Suitable for individuals who smoke 20 or more cigarettes per day.
Two usage programs are available:
Program A – If you plan to stop smoking before beginning treatment:
Chew one gum whenever you feel the urge to smoke. Do not exceed 20 pieces per day.
After about 3 months, gradually reduce the number of pieces chewed daily.
Once you reach 1–2 gums per day, you can stop using Nicotinell Gum. Most users can complete the program within 6 months.
Program B – If you are unable to stop smoking before starting treatment:
When a craving strikes, chew one gum slowly instead of smoking.
Increase gum use while reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke. Do not exceed 10 gums per day.
When you have cut down smoking enough to quit completely, switch to Program A.
If you haven’t reduced your daily smoking within 6 weeks, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
How to use Nicotinell Gum:
Chew slowly until the flavour becomes strong.
“Park” the gum between your cheek and gum to allow nicotine absorption.
When the taste fades, chew again and repeat for about 30 minutes.
Most people use 8–12 pieces of the 2 mg gum or 4–6 pieces of the 4 mg gum per day.
Do not exceed 20 pieces of the 2 mg strength or 10 pieces of the 4 mg strength daily.
Reduce use after 3 months to 1–2 pieces per day, stopping completely around 6 months (or earlier if ready).
