Description
Nicotinell Gum is designed to support your quit-smoking routine by easing nicotine cravings and helping reduce common withdrawal symptoms that occur when you stop smoking. By providing controlled nicotine delivery, it allows you to manage urges as they arise and maintain better control during your quit attempt.
Each piece releases a steady dose of nicotine to help satisfy cravings. When used correctly, Nicotinell Soft Gum can significantly improve your chances of successfully quitting compared to relying on willpower alone.
The gum delivers a fast-acting therapeutic dose that is absorbed through the mouth for up to 30 minutes, helping reduce cravings quickly. The act of chewing also offers a useful physical distraction, keeping your mouth busy and helping redirect the urge to smoke.

Directions
Read the full instructions inside the pack before use. Suitable for individuals who smoke fewer than 20 cigarettes per day.
Two programs are available:
Program A – If you want to quit smoking before starting the program:
Chew one gum whenever you feel the urge to smoke. Do not exceed 20 gums per day.
After roughly 3 months, gradually reduce the number of pieces you use each day.
Once you have reduced to 1–2 pieces daily, you can stop using Nicotinell Gum. Most people can complete this process within 6 months.
Program B – If you need to cut down before quitting:
When the urge to smoke occurs, chew one gum slowly instead of smoking a cigarette.
Increase gum use gradually while reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke. Do not exceed 20 gums a day.
Once you have reduced your smoking to a point where you feel ready to quit, switch to Program A.
If you have not reduced your daily cigarette intake within 6 weeks, speak with your doctor or pharmacist.
How to use Nicotinell Gum:
Place one gum in your mouth and chew slowly until the taste becomes strong.
“Park” the gum between your cheek and gum to allow nicotine absorption.
When the taste fades, chew again and repeat the chew-and-park cycle for around 30 minutes.
Most users take 8–12 pieces of the 2 mg gum or 4–6 pieces of the 4 mg gum daily.
Do not exceed 20 pieces of the 2 mg gum or 10 pieces of the 4 mg gum per day.
Using Nicotinell Patches + Gum or Lozenges (Combination Therapy)
Nicotinell Patches provide a steady release of nicotine throughout the day. If breakthrough cravings occur, you can use Nicotinell Gum 2 mg for fast relief, or Nicotinell Lozenges 2 mg for longer-lasting support.
You may combine Nicotinell Patch 21 mg with Nicotinell Gum 2 mg or Nicotinell Lozenges 2 mg.
Use each product as directed for 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, reduce your nicotine replacement gradually. You can:
Stop the patch first, then slowly reduce your gum or lozenge use until no longer required; or
Continue with the same number of gums/lozenges and step down to the Step 2 patch for 3–4 weeks, then Step 3 for another 3–4 weeks, before tapering off gums/lozenges.
