Description

Nicotinell 2mg Gum is available in a variety of great-tasting flavours and is designed to help manage nicotine cravings throughout the day.

For best results, use the recommended “chew and park” technique for up to 30 minutes:

Slowly chew one piece until the flavour becomes strong.

“Park” the gum between your cheek and gum to allow the nicotine to absorb.

When the taste fades, repeat the process for the remainder of the 30 minutes.

Dosage Form: Chewing gum.

Directions

Refer to the leaflet inside the pack for full usage instructions.
Use one piece of gum whenever you feel the urge to smoke.
Do not exceed 20 gums per day.

After about three months, begin reducing the number of gums used each day.
Once you reach 1–2 gums daily, you can stop the programme.
Most users can complete treatment within six months.

Ingredients

Each gum contains nicotine 2mg.
Also contains saccharin sodium, sorbitol, xylitol and mannitol (0.4g per gum or 8g per 20 gums). Products with these ingredients may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Contains 11.5mg (0.5 mmol) sodium per gum (230mg or 10mmol per 20 gums). Consider this if you are following a low-sodium diet.

You use insulin for diabetes.
