Description

Otrivin Adult Nasal Spray is designed for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older to quickly relieve nasal congestion. This nasal decongestant provides fast, temporary relief from a blocked or runny nose caused by colds, flu, sinus infections, hay fever, or other forms of allergic rhinitis.

The active ingredient, xylometazoline hydrochloride, works by shrinking swollen nasal tissues, helping to open the nasal passages and ease breathing. Otrivin Nasal Spray is suitable for both adults and children over 12 years old.

Active: Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 1mg/mL

Preservative: Benzalkonium Chloride

Directions for Use

Before the first use, remove the protective cap and press the applicator until a fine spray is released.

Gently blow your nose to clear nasal passages.

Insert the nozzle into one nostril and press the applicator once while inhaling.

Remove the nozzle and release the applicator.

Repeat the process in the other nostril.

Wipe the nozzle clean and replace the cap.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: 1 spray per nostril, 2–3 times daily as needed.

Allow at least 8–10 hours between doses.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.

Warnings

Read the label and follow instructions carefully.

Keep out of reach of children.

Occasional stinging or sneezing may occur.

Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days without medical advice, as prolonged use may worsen congestion.

Avoid use in children under 12 years, in those allergic to xylometazoline, after recent nasal or oral surgery, if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, or if you have inflammatory nasal dryness.

Avoid contact with eyes.

Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reactions occur.

Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medications.
