Directions For Use

Adults & Children 12 years and over: Take 2 caplets every 4-6 hours as necessary. Do not exceed 8 caplets in 24 hours.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Incorrect use could be harmful.

Ingredients

Each caplet contains:  Paracetamol 500 mg and Caffeine 65 mg

Warnings

  • Adults: Keep to the recommended dose. Do not take this medicine for longer than a few days at a time unless advised to by a doctor.

 

  • Children and adolescents: Keep to the recommended dose. Do not give this medicine for longer than 48 hours at a time unless advised to by a doctor.

 

If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (13 11 26); or go to the hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.

Do not use this product if;

  • On children under 12 years of age.
  • With other products containing paracetamol or caffeine, unless advised to do so by a doctor or pharmacist.
  • If foil is broken.
  • If pregnant, except on medical advice.
  • If the packaging use by date has expired.
  • For more than a few days at a time in adults except on medical advice.

Caution:

  • One dose contains 130 mg caffeine - this is approximately the caffeine content of two cups of instant coffee. Limit the use of caffeine-containing products (including tea and coffee) when taking these tablets. Caffeine may cause sleeplessness if it is taken up to several hours before going to bed.


Stop use and tell your doctor immediately if you have an allergic reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking Pharmacy Choice® Paracetamol Extra. These reactions are very rare.
