Pharmacy Action Diarrhoea Relief is used for the short-term management of acute diarrhoea in adults and children over 12. Each capsule contains loperamide hydrochloride 2mg, which slows the movement of the bowel so the body can absorb more water, resulting in firmer, less frequent stools. This pack holds 20 capsules.

Directions for Use
Adults and children over 12 years: take 2 capsules initially, then 1 capsule after each loose bowel motion. Do not take more than 8 capsules in 24 hours. Do not use for longer than 48 hours unless advised by a doctor.

Warnings
Not suitable for children under 12 years. See your doctor if diarrhoea lasts more than 48 hours, or if there is blood in the stool or a high fever. Drink plenty of fluids to replace those lost. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
