Description
For effective, temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms including: Headaches and fever, runny or blocked nose, body aches and pains, sore throat and dry cough
Ingredients
Day: Paracetamol 500mg. Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10mg.
Night: Paracetamol 500mg. Chlorpheniramine maleate 2mg. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10mg.
Directions
Adult and Children 12 years and over:
DAY: 2 blue capsules to be taken every 4-6 hours as necessary, up to 3 times daily. Morning, Midday and Afternoon. Do not exceed 6 DAY capsules in 24 hours.
NIGHT: 2 red capsules to be taken at bedtime. Do not exceed 2 NIGHT capsules in 24 hours.
Warnings
This medicine may not be right for you. Read the label before purchase. Follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Incorrect use could be harmful
• Adults: Keep to the recommended dose. Do not take this medicine for longer than a few days at a time unless advised to by a doctor.
• Children and adolescents: Keep to the recommended dose. Do not give this medicine for longer than 48 hours at a time unless advised to by a doctor.
• Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
• NIGHT capsules may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.
• Phenylephrine may cause sleeplessness in some people.
• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26, New Zealand 0800 764 766) or go to hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
• Do not use If foil is broken.
Consult your pharmacist or doctor before taking if:
• You are pregnant or likely to become pregnant.
• You are taking other products containing paracetamol.
• You have high blood pressure or heart problems or are taking antidepressant medication.
• You are taking any other medicines to treat cough and cold.
Caution:
• Contains lactose.
