Description

Esomeprazole 20 mg tablets are formulated to provide relief from frequent heartburn and acid reflux associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD). Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach, thereby alleviating symptoms and promoting healing of the esophageal lining.

Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate – equivalent to Esomeprazole 20 mg per tablet

Warnings & Precautions

Do not use if:

You are allergic to esomeprazole or other proton pump inhibitors (e.g., omeprazole, lansoprazole).

You are taking antiretroviral medications such as atazanavir.

You are taking cilostazol, used for treating intermittent claudication.

You are breastfeeding or intend to breastfeed.

The blister foil is broken or shows signs of tampering.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if:

You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

You have or have had serious liver disease.

You are taking medications such as digoxin, ketoconazole, clopidogrel, or warfarin.

You are taking other medications regularly.

General Precautions:

Not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
