Description

Relpax 40mg Tablets contain eletriptan hydrobromide, a serotonin (5-HT1B/1D) receptor agonist used for the acute treatment of migraines. It works by narrowing blood vessels around the brain and reducing inflammatory substances that contribute to migraine symptoms. Relpax provides targeted relief from headache, nausea, and light sensitivity, especially when taken at the onset of a migraine attack.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient (per tablet):

Eletriptan hydrobromide equivalent to 40mg eletriptan

Inactive Ingredients include:

Lactose monohydrate

Microcrystalline cellulose

Croscarmellose sodium

Magnesium stearate

Hypromellose

Titanium dioxide

Iron oxide yellow

Polyethylene glycol

Usage

Adults (18–65 years): Take one tablet (40mg) at the first sign of a migraine attack.

If the migraine returns, a second dose may be taken after at least 2 hours.

Do not exceed 80mg in 24 hours.

Not for use in children, adolescents, or for the prevention of migraines.

Warnings

Do not use if you:

Have heart problems, stroke history, or uncontrolled blood pressure

Are allergic to eletriptan or any ingredients

Have taken other triptans or ergotamine within the last 24 hours

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

May cause dizziness, fatigue, or chest sensations – avoid driving if affected.
