Brand Sudafed
Metered pump spray for a blocked nose from a cold, flu, hay fever or sinus congestion. Xylometazoline narrows the swollen blood vessels in the nasal lining, which opens the airway within about 5 minutes and holds for up to 10 hours. The formula also includes a moisturising component to help with the dryness that decongestant sprays can cause. This is a twin pack of two 10mL pump bottles.

Active Ingredients
Xylometazoline hydrochloride 99 micrograms per spray (0.1% w/v).

Directions for Use
Adults and children 12 years and over. Blow your nose gently first. Keep your head upright, put the nozzle into one nostril and close the other, then press the pump firmly while breathing in through your nose. Repeat in the other nostril. Use 1 spray per nostril up to three times a day, and no more often than every 8 hours.

Warnings
• Do not use for more than 3 days in adults or 2 days in children unless a doctor tells you to - longer use can make congestion worse
• Not for children under 12 years
• Do not use if you are sensitive to xylometazoline or any other ingredient
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take other medicines, or have an existing medical condition
• To avoid spreading infection, do not share the bottle with anyone else
• Keep out of reach of children
