Description                                                                                                                              Vermox Choc Chew Tablets contain mebendazole for the treatment of intestinal worm infections, including threadworm. They may also be used for whipworm, roundworm and hookworm infections as directed by a healthcare professional.

Mebendazole works by preventing worms from absorbing glucose required for their survival.

Before treating threadworm, evidence of infestation should be present. If one household member has threadworms, treatment of all family members may be considered.

Signs and symptoms of threadworm infestation may include:

• Small white thread-like worms around the anal area.

• Itching around the anus or vagina.

• Restless sleep, teeth grinding, and irritability.

• Sucralose and sugars.

Directions
Threadworm – Adults and children 2 years and over:

• Take 1 tablet as a single dose.

• Tablets may be taken with or without food.

• Tablets can be chewed or crushed.

• Crush tablets before giving to children.

• A liquid formulation is available for younger children if required.

Warnings
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if:

• You are pregnant or may be pregnant.

• You suspect roundworm, whipworm, or hookworm infection and require advice on appropriate treatment.
