Vermox Tablets 100mg 2

Vermox Orange Tablets are indicated for the treatment of intestinal worm infections caused by threadworm, whipworm, roundworm and hookworm in adults and children aged 2 years and over.

Mebendazole works by preventing susceptible worms from absorbing glucose, which is required for their survival.

For threadworm treatment, evidence of infestation should be present before use. If one household member has threadworms, treatment of all household members is recommended.

Signs and symptoms of threadworm infestation may include:

• Small white worms around the anal area

• Itching around the anus or vagina

• Restless sleep

• Teeth grinding

• Irritability

Directions

Threadworm

Adults and children 2 years and over

• Take 1 tablet as a single dose.

• Tablets may be taken with or without food.

• Tablets may be swallowed whole, chewed or crushed.

• Crush tablets before giving to children.

A suspension formulation is available for younger children where appropriate.

• Seek medical advice if you suspect roundworm, whipworm or hookworm infection.

• Do not use in children under 2 years of age unless advised by a doctor.
