Xylocaine 5% Ointment contains lignocaine (lidocaine), a local anaesthetic used to numb the surface of the skin and mucous membranes for temporary relief of pain and discomfort. It is applied in a thin layer to the affected area. This tube contains 35g.

Active Ingredient
Lignocaine (lidocaine) 5%.

Directions for Use
Apply a thin layer to the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times a day when needed. A sterile gauze covering may be used. The maximum single dose is 5g of ointment.

Warnings
For external use. Keep away from the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with water for at least 15 minutes and seek advice. Do not apply to large areas or broken skin except on medical advice. Not recommended for children under 2 years. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
