Zyrtec Cetrizine Kids Sugar Free Oral Liquid Grape Flavour 2 x 120mL

Cetirizine hydrochloride 5 mg/5 mL oral liquid is used for the relief of hayfever and allergy symptoms in children aged 1 year and over.

It is an antihistamine that may help relieve symptoms associated with allergies, including:

• Sneezing

• Runny nose

• Itchy or watery eyes

• Hives and itchy skin rash

• Post-nasal drip

Active Ingredient

Cetirizine hydrochloride 5 mg/5 mL

Directions for Use

If the child’s weight is known, dosing is based on weight rather than age.

Age 1–3 years (up to 14 kg): 2 mL twice daily as required (maximum 2 doses in 24 hours)
Age 3–5 years (14–18 kg): 2.5 mL twice daily as required
Age 5–6 years (18–22 kg): 3 mL twice daily as required
Age 5–6 years (22–26 kg): 3.5 mL twice daily as required
Age 5–6 years (26–30 kg): 4 mL twice daily as required
Over 6 years (over 30 kg): 5 mL twice daily as required

Warnings

Do not use:

• In children under 1 year of age

• If hypersensitive to any of the ingredients

• If the bottle seal is broken or tampered with

Consult a healthcare professional before use if the child has liver or kidney disease.

While using this medicine:

• Contains sorbitol, which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea in some individuals

• May cause drowsiness

• If symptoms persist, worsen, or new symptoms appear, discontinue use and seek medical advice

• In case of overdose, seek medical attention immediately

• Ensure cap is tightened after use
